Nicolai Tabakoff founded the firm in August 2022 on Kurfürstendamm — after a career in consulting, specialisation in tax from 2015, appointment as Steuerberater by the Berlin chamber in April 2019, and two years as partner and head of tax at a mid-sized law firm. Since 2026 the firm operates as Tara Steuerberatung.
